Khabib submits Conor; postfight brawl ensues

Khabib Nurmagomedov defeated challenger Conor McGregor by submission in the fourth round of their lightweight title bout Saturday night at UFC 229 in Las Vegas.

Nurmagomedov got McGregor to tap out due to a rear-naked choke at 3:03.

Nurmagomedov (27-0) has won all 11 of his fights in the UFC since making his debut for the promotion in 2012. For McGregor (21-4), who was fighting in the Octagon for the first time since November 2016, it's his second loss in his past four fights.

The biggest win of Nurmagomedov's career was marred soon after the fight, however, when he leaped out of the Octagon to confront a member of McGregor's team.
