A Kentucky football recruit was stabbed six times Saturday while visiting his son in Ohio during spring break.
Jordan Bonner, a junior college linebacker at Northeastern Oklahoma A&M — who is set to play at Kentucky next season — spent four days in the hospital after being stabbed in the chest, abdomen and back.

“They said had he not been an athlete in good shape this would have been far worse,” Bonner’s mother, Karen Barhams, told Cleveland television station WJW.
