The family of the late Ken Stabler will not receive a gold jacket or ring from the Pro Football Hall of Fame despite him being inducted in August, according to Stabler's daughter, Kendra Stabler Moyes (h/t Deadspin's Diana Moskovitz).
Stabler died in July 2015 after being diagnosed with colon cancer and never had an opportunity to see his name on the walls of Canton.
In a 15-year career from 1970 to 1984, mostly with the Oakland Raiders, Stabler won an MVP in 1974, was elected to four Pro Bowls and won Super Bowl XI over the Minnesota Vikings.
