NEW YORK — And here's ... Katie. The Emmy-winning host of FS1's "Garbage Time with Katie Nolan" wants to turn her once-a-week late program into a weeknight, late-night show on Fox Sports' FS1 cable network.
Nolan, the irreverent and occasionally foul-mouthed young star, told Sporting News she is wary of airing too early on the East or West coasts — because, she said, she wouldn't be able to "get away with half of the things" she does on "Garbage Time," which airs Wednesday nights from midnight to 12:30 a.m. ET. That includes spitting sunflower seeds with Alex Rodriguez, chugging beers with Madison Bumgarner and playing "Call of Duty" with Richard Sherman.
