Kasey Kahne enjoyed a fourth-place finish at Dover to match his season best, but post-race infractions have put the No. 5 team further behind than where they started.
NASCAR announced Wednesday that Kahne's No. 5 team received a P3-level penalty for infractions last weekend at the Monster Mile. The rules violations stem from failing the laser tech platform pos-trace inspection where the car's truck arms failed to meet the correct measurements.
