The prospective trade market for Chicago Bears quarterback Justin Fields may have taken further shape Sunday after Russell Wilson announced he's signing with the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Speculation over Fields' future in Chicago is far outpacing any tangible developments regarding a possible exit.
ESPN's Dan Graziano and Jeremy Fowler reported Sunday the Bears aren't making much headway, with Fowler writing that "some around the league are starting to wonder whether the Bears have any enticing offers."
Maybe the Steelers were never a serious contender for Fields, but they were at least a QB-needy team that's now off the board entirely.
