An eight-member federal jury in Los Angeles found New York Knicks point guard Derrick Rose not liable in a civil lawsuit claiming gang rape of his unconscious ex-girlfriend.
The jury also found Rose's two friends not liable. It began deliberations Wednesday morning.
The woman had claimed Rose and two friends gang-raped her in 2013 at her Los Angeles apartment after she passed out from drugs or drink.
The woman was seeking $21.5 million when she filed suit, but her lawyer didn't provide a specific sum for the jury.
Rose's attorneys called the sex consensual and contended the woman was simply seeking a $21.
