Hollywood A-lister Judd Apatow will co-direct an upcoming "30 for 30" documentary on 1980s Mets superstars Dwight Gooden and Darryl Strawberry.
ESPN announced last week that the "Trainwreck" director would work with "You Don't Know Bo" director Michael Bonfiglio on "Doc & Darryl," which is set to air July 19.

The film reunites former ace pitcher Gooden and star slugger Strawberry at a diner in Queens, where they reminisce about the glory days in '80s and "the harrowing nights that turned them from surefire Hall of Famers into prisoners of their own addictions," according to ESPN.
