Cavaliers shooting guard J.R. Smith could very well follow teammate LeBron James onto the cast of "Space Jam 2".
Smith's agent, Daniel Hazan, confirmed to TMZ Sports that producers for the movie have reached out to Smith about a potential role ... and that both sides are interested.
Negotiations are still ongoing, with Smith's participation dependent on what kind of deal can be worked up. But it would make since if he made an appearance in the movie, considering Bulls legend Michael Jordan got teammates like Scottie Pippen uncredited roles in the original "Space Jam".
