Tight end Jordan Cameron revealed he has decided to retire at the age of 28. Pat McManamon of ESPN reported the news Friday.

"I started thinking about concussions too much," Cameron told McManamon on Friday from his home in California. "You can't play football like that."

He suffered a concussion in a Week 3 win over the Cleveland Browns, his fourth in as many seasons. Armando Salguero of the Miami Herald reported Cameron was considering retirement at the time due to potential long-term complications of his head injuries.
