Despite rumors that Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Jordan Addison wanted a trade—sparked by a social media post on Saturday captioned, "Free 3"—Addison clarified on Monday that he does not want to leave Minnesota, according to ESPN's Kevin Seifert.
"People just try to make something out of anything," Addison told reporters on Monday. "It ain't nothing."
Addison clarified that he has used the phrase several times over the last four years, starting during his time at the University of Pittsburgh.
"I think I came up with that in 2020 fall camp at Pittsburgh," Addison continued.
