Sometimes the teacher has to become the student, even the fake teachers and self-appointed teachers and the teachers who don’t know who the principal is until it’s too late.
In short: Jonathan Papelbon has learned his lesson. Maybe he now knows he is — or at least was — the wrong person to be in charge of old-school discipline. And that Bryce Harper, the National League MVP, the present and future of the Washington Nationals and one of the faces of baseball for the next decade or so, isn’t here to get taught anything by the likes of Papelbon.
