Joey Logano and his No. 22 Penske Racing team was levied a P2 penalty for improperly installed lug nuts at Sunday’s AAA 500 at Texas Motor Speedway, NASCAR announced Wednesday.
Logano's No. 22 Ford was found to have only 19 of 20 lug nuts secured following his runnerup finish to Carl Edwards in the rain-shortened event. As a result, Logano's crew chief, Todd Gordon was fined $10,000.
