The Rangers promoted slugger Joey Gallo on Monday after watching two of their starting outfielders (Shin-Soo Choo and Drew Stubbs) land on the disabled list. Fantasy baseball owners got a glimpse of Gallo's strengths and weaknesses last year when he hit .204/.301/.417 with six homers and 57 strikeouts in just 36 games with the big club.
