Joe Rogan has been a staple of the UFC, his tenure dating to 1997. He had been hinting this could be his last year with the company if it was sold and chairman/CEO Lorenzo Fertitta and president Dana White were no longer involved.
The company was sold earlier this month to WME-IMG; Fertitta will no longer be with the company but White is staying on. Due partly to the latter staying, so will Rogan.

The comedian announced Tuesday on his hit podcast, The Joe Rogan Experience, he will remain the primary commentator for "at least one more year" but will have a reduced role.
