Family secrets or not, Joe Ricketts plans to donate at least $1 million to a super PAC supporting Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump, The Wall Street Journal reported.
The decision by Ricketts, who founded TD Ameritrade, is "particularly startling," according to the Washington Post, since Trump had threatened to expose secrets about the Ricketts family, which owns the Chicago Cubs, after Joe Ricketts' wife, Marlene, gave an initial $3 million earlier this year to the anti-Trump group Our Principles PAC.
