Joe Maddon curses out ump after bogus strike call, gets tossed

A ball four turned strike call lit a fire under Cubs manager Joe Maddon on Tuesday at Wrigley Field as he rushed to ask home plate umpire Jerry Meals a simple question.

With Cubs catcher David Ross in the midst of a 3-0 count against Reds starter Brandon Finnegan, Meals called a strike on the following pitch that was well inside near Ross' ankles.
