J.J. Watt to be in broadcast booth in 2025 for CBS

Former Arizona Cardinals defensive lineman J.J. Watt is moving up in the TV broadcast world. He will be a game analyst for CBS this coming season.

Watt, following his retirement after the 2022 season, Watt began working for CBS as a studio analyst for "The NFL Today." CBS announced that Watt will join the broadcast booth and be a game analyst with play-by-play commentator Ian Eagle, the network's No. 2 game broadcast team.

He replaces Charles Davis, who will become the new lead college football analyst for the network in a year, following the announcement of Gary Danielson that he will retire after the 2025 college football season.
