Houston Texans star J.J. Watt wasn't happy to see he had fallen to No. 35 on NFL Network's list of the top 100 players.
The network announced Watt's position Monday night, which represented a steep fall from No. 3, where he sat last year. Shortly thereafter, Watt voiced his displeasure:
Watt's ire should be directed toward his colleagues since players make up the voting panel for NFL Network's list.
Recency bias is always a problem when it comes to any sort of annual player rankings. Those who had a big season are often significantly rewarded, while those who struggled generally see their profile take a hit.
