The Los Angeles Lakers fell apart in the final few minutes of Game 3 of their first-round playoff series against the Minnesota Timberwolves on Friday and lost 116-104. Until the four-minute mark of the fourth period, the game had been close throughout, until turnovers and other miscues did them in.
They will have an opportunity to not only tie the series but also regain home-court advantage on Sunday afternoon when Game 4 takes place at Target Center.
As pleasant as playing and winning at home is, there is something uniquely satisfying about winning playoff games on a foreign court.
