Michigan quarterback J.J. McCarthy remains a "very polarizing" prospect ahead of the 2024 NFL draft, according to ESPN's Jeremy Fowler.
Fowler reported Monday on Get Up there are three teams "who tell me that they would be surprised if J.J. McCarthy does not go in the top six." However, he cited some scouts "who say he's not even a first-round pick."
McCarthy threw for 5,710 yards and 48 touchdowns in his two seasons as Michigan's starter. His efficiency took a big step forward in 2023 as well as he completed 72.3 percent of his passes and finished with a 167.
