The mask U.S. hockey goalie Jim Craig wore during the “Miracle on Ice” run at the 1980 Olympics sold at auction for $137,849.16, Yahoo Sports reported.
Meanwhile, bidding reached more $611,000 for Craig’s gold medal, but that item did not sell after a month-long auction at Leland’s because it failed to meet its reserve price.

Craig last summer tried unsuccessfully to sell a 19-piece lot of memorabilia for $5.7 million. In May, he put 17 items up for sale with the Long Island-based auction house.
