As veteran edge rusher Haason Reddick continues his holdout from the New York Jets ahead of Monday night's season opener against the San Francisco 49ers, the money he's losing is starting to pile up.
Per The Athletic's Zack Rosenblatt, Reddick is set to forfeit a game check of $791,666 for missing Monday's game and every subsequent game he misses. As ESPN's Adam Schefter noted, this is on top of the $5 million in mandated fines he's already racked up from the NFL for his holdout.
