New York Jets wide receiver Garrett Wilson and running back Breece Hall didn't think there was any room for doubt in their team's 32-19 loss to the San Francisco 49ers on Monday Night Football.
Wilson acknowledged the Jets are "not there yet" and that the 49ers "whooped our ass today."
Hall struck a similar tone when he said San Francisco "just played harder than us" and provided an example for the level New York needs to be at.
To say Monday's game was a reality check for the Jets is a bit of a stretch because many were questioning their championship credentials.
