Three years ago, Dee Milliner was the future of the Jets’ secondary. Now, he’s history.
The Jets cut Milliner even with no salary cap savings Saturday, NFL Network first reported. The 24-year-old cornerback will get paid $4.028 million to go away despite being the No. 9 overall pick in the 2013 NFL Draft. (He was not under contract for next season.)

It’s hard to argue that Milliner was on the verge of a breakout season, given he’s only had two or three good games in his career.
