Dallas owner Jerry Jones proved once again — this time by taking Notre Dame linebacker Jaylon Smith in the second round of the NFL Draft — that the Cowboys are always worth the price of admission.
It’s risky — Smith likely won’t play next season. It’s bold because Smith will be linked in to UCLA’s Myles Jack, who went two picks later to the Jacksonville Jaguars. It’s a Jerry Jones special for sure.

It’s because if Smith comes back healthy, then he’s a better long-term investment than Jack.
