The Dallas Cowboys are entering the 2022 season with some major upheaval at wide receiver, but they still have CeeDee Lamb.
After trading away Pro Bowler Amari Cooper to the Cleveland Browns earlier this offseason, Cowboys owner Jerry Jones told Clarence Hill Jr. of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram he believes Lamb to be an upgrade as the team's No. 1 receiver:
Jones told the Star-Telegram that CeeDee Lamb will be an upgrade over Cooper as a true No. 1 receiver in the Cowboys offense.
Jones said he was trying to slight Cooper, whom the team traded in March in part because his production didn’t match his $20 million practice tag.
