Unlike Dallas Cowboys head coach Mike McCarthy, team owner Jerry Jones did not push back against former quarterback Troy Aikman's criticism of Cowboys receivers.
Aikman said last week that Dallas' wideouts "run terrible routes," and that three-time Pro Bowler CeeDee Lamb "has got to improve in his route running."
"Troy knows football, my goodness," Jones said Tuesday on Audacy's 105.3 The Fan. "He lives it. When he was here, he was one of the most astute and hardworking people I've ever seen at evaluating tape, or looking at how a team is playing.
