Jerry Jones blames his ego on ending relationship with Jimmy Johnson in Dallas

Jerry Jones somewhat admitted on Thursday he was the reason behind the end of his relationship with former Cowboys coach Jimmy Johnson in the '90s.

"I lost my tolerance for a lot of things," Jones told Texas AM radio station KTCK. "I probably should have had a little more tolerance with Jimmy Johnson. Seriously."

Johnson was fired by Jones following the 1993 season, after the Cowboys won consecutive Super Bowls.

At the time, Jones notoriously said he "should have fired (Johnson) and brought in (Oklahoma coach) Barry Switzer. There are 500 coaches who could have won the Super Bowl with our team.
