After the New England Patriots failed to complete a trade for San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk because he reportedly turned down a contract extension offer, head coach Jerod Mayo wasn't sweating the decision.
Mayo addressed how things played out with Aiyuk on Sunday, saying he knows the Patriots have more work to do before they can attract a player of his caliber.
"When we start to win games, guys will want to come here," Mayo said, per Alex Barth of 98.
