Jeff Gordon had an unusual problem late in the Sprint Cup race on Monday — his seat belts came undone and he had to fix them while driving.
At about 170 mph.
Shortly after a restart on Lap 110 at Pocono Raceway, Gordon fell off the pace. The NASCAR on NBCSN broadcast crew reported that Gordon had a belt that was not fastened, then showed in-car footage as Gordon worked on his lap belt. He managed to get the belt reconnected while driving and pulled back up to the field. He was 26th after the setback.
