Jason Pierre-Paul's right hand is OK. Stop worrying about it.
That's the message the veteran pass rusher sent with a tone of frustration Tuesday during a conference call with reporters. Fresh off his re-signing with the Giants on a one-year deal, Pierre-Paul claims his "hand will be perfectly fine."

"I’m capable of lifting weights," the 27-year-old said, "closing and gripping and all that. My surgery turned out pretty well."

And though he would not say whether he's finished with surgical work on the hand that was damaged in a July 4 fireworks accident — "we'll just have to wait and see" — Pierre-Paul insists he'll be a part of New York's offseason programs.
