Jason Kipnis: I'd love to see Bartman throw out World Series first pitch

Cleveland Indians second baseman Jason Kipnis grew up a Chicago Cubs fan and would welcome infamous fan Steve Bartman to throw out the first pitch at one of the upcoming World Series games at Wrigley Field.

“I would love to see him throw out a first pitch,” Kipnis told reporters. “Everyone would go nuts.”

Bartman became famous when he sat in the front row along the left-field foul line and extended his arms to try and catch a foul ball in the eigth inning but interfered with Cubs outfielder Moises Alou with five outs to go in the eighth inning of Game 6 of the National League Championships against the Florida Marlins.
