Cue the dramatic music, Jason Day is speaking.
The 28-year-old Aussie vaulted himself to the top of the world rankings this weekend by winning the WGC-Dell Match Play, his second consecutive victory. But Day said in an interview with David Feherty on Golf Channel's "Feherty"that he almost walked away from golf back in 2011.

"I really wanted to quit the game," Day said. "I wasn't having a good time on the golf course."
His ultimate decision apparently came just before the 2011 Masters, his first time at Augusta National.
