Jason Day knows a thing or two about coming back from injuries. Day was set back by a string of maladies this season that ended with him withdrawing from the Tour Championship because of back issues. So he understands where Tiger Woods is coming from in his long march back to the PGA Tour.
Day spoke openly (and interestingly) about Woods recently to Golf Australia. While Woods noted last week that pulling out of the Safeway Open was all performance-related, Day insinuated that it was not.
