The Cincinnati Bengals are "anticipating" wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase will play Sunday's season opener against the New England Patriots, ESPN's Jeremy Fowler reported.
The Bengals listed Chase as "questionable" for Week 1 due to illness on Saturday's injury report.
Chase did not practice during Bengals training camp amid his bid for an extension.
The three-time Pro Bowler said on Friday that it would be his "decision" as to whether or not he played Sunday without a new contract.
