Seattle Seahawks safety Jamal Adams won't participate in the team's mandatory minicamp, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.
There are multiple reports regarding the reason for his absence.
Geoffrey C. Arnold of the Oregonian reported Monday that Adams would hold out in hopes of signing a long-term extension, but ESPN's Jeremy Fowler said Tuesday that his absence may be for personal reasons.
Jeremy FowlerAdams needs a new contract, but I'm told Seahawks are aware of a potential family/personal issue with Adams that might be a factor here. https://t.co/HYTh3ec2zg
