Veteran safety Jamal Adams has found a new home.
The Tennessee Titans agreed to terms with Adams on Thursday, marking the 28-year-old's third team in his eight-year NFL career. Davenport noted that the agreement reunites Adams with Titans defensive coordinator Dennard Wilson, who was his defensive backs coach during his Pro Bowl seasons in 2018 and 2019.
Adams spent the last four seasons with the Seattle Seahawks, who acquired him from the New York Jets in 2020 in exchange for a package that included two first-round picks. Seattle signed him to a four-year, $72 million contract extension in 2021, making him the league's highest-paid safety at the time.
