Jaguars WR Justin Blackmon gets suspended sentence for DUI arrest

Suspended Jacksonville Jaguars receiver Justin Blackmon will avoid jail time after he received a one-year suspended sentence for his December 2015 DUI arrest, the Tulsa World reported.

On top of a one-year suspended sentence, Blackmon will be on probation and will have to serve 100 hours of community service.

Blackmon pleaded guilty to the DUI charge in April. It marks the second time he has been arrested on suspicion of DUI since the Jaguars selected him fifth overall in the 2012 NFL Draft.

Blackmon was indefinitely suspended in 2013 and remains banned from the league after his appeal for reinstatement was denied last year.
