NEW YORK – Right when it seemed Jacoby Ellsbury might be getting his season on track, he got hurt.
The Yankees’ center fielder and leadoff man, 6-for-15 with three doubles in May after a dismal April, drew a four-pitch walk from Red Sox right-hander Rick Porcello to lead off the game on Friday night. Ellsbury stole second base, then swiped third — and it was then he appeared to suffer an injury, grabbing his hip as he came around the base.

Ellsbury remained in the game to score on a Brian McCann double, but did not take the field for the second inning.
