Isaiah Pead 'lost part of leg' in car crash, Cincinnati coach Tommy Tuberville says

Former NFL and University of Cincinnati running back Isaiah Pead lost part of his left leg in a single-car accident Saturday in Columbus, Ohio, Bearcats coach Tommy Tuberville said Wednesday night.

"He'll never play again, obviously," Tuberville said on his weekly 700 WLW-AM radio show, according to the Cincinnati Enquirer . "It's just devastating."

Pead, 26, who played at Cincinnati from 2008-2011, was ejected from his vehicle when it hit a metal guardrail, causing it to become airborne and strike several trees as it went down an embankment.
