Things are moving slowly on the potential sale of TNA Impact Wrestling to minority owner Billy Corgan, according to a report by Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com.
Corgan has been a minority owner in the company for months now, but has publicly expressed interest in purchasing a majority ownership in the promotion. Its sale has become complicated, partly because TNA is supposed to be holding its "Bound For Glory" pay-per-view show on Sunday — despite appearances that it doesn't have the financing in place to actually go through with the show.
Longtime owner Dixie Carter has been floating through on loans and selling minority stakes in the company for nearly a year now, and appears to be out of cash once and for all.
