Akron (United States) (AFP) - Ireland's Shane Lowry birdied the 18th hole for a four-under 66 in the fourth round as he beat Bubba Watson by two strokes to claim the WGC-Bridgestone Invitational on Sunday.
It marked the first victory for Lowry since 2012 as he became the first non-PGA Tour member to win a World Golf Championship event since 2011 when Germany's Martin Kaymer did it.
