A former Iowa State women's basketball player is accusing coach Bill Fennelly, the university and the state of Iowa of racial discrimination and retaliation in a lawsuit filed in Iowa state district court.
In the suit, former Cyclones point guard Nikki Moody says she was repeatedly harassed and discriminated against by Fennelly. Moody, who is African-American, said the treatment she suffered led to a “hostile education environment through racial harassment.”
