LSU women's basketball is headed to its third straight Sweet 16. A dominant second half propelled LSU to a win over Florida State in the second round. It was a high scoring affair with a final score of 101-71.
It was LSU's second-straight game crossing the 100-point mark after the Tigers scored 103 in the first-round win over San Diego State.
Playing in a packed PMAC, LSU took advantage of the home crowd. Tigers head coach Kim Mulkey bought 2,000 student section tickets for LSU's first and second-round games.
Three Tigers scored 20+ points, but sophomore guard Mikaylah Williams led the way with 28.
