Sunday night, prior to Game 5 of the World Series, a Hall of Fame player will throw out the ceremonial first pitch for the third straight night.
Cubs legend Ryne Sandberg will do the honors, MLB announced Sunday morning. Billy Williams threw out the Game 3 first pitch Friday, and both Greg Maddux and Fergie Jenkins did it prior to Game 4 on Saturday.
Sandberg played all but 13 games of his 16-year career with the Cubs.
