On the first restart of overtime in Sunday's Can-Am 500 Round of 8 finale at Phoenix, Kyle Busch initiated contact with Alex Bowman, moving the No. 88 car into the rear of race leader and Joe Gibbs Racing teammate Matt Kenseth, who went spinning.
This happened after Busch asked Kenseth's team to do him a favor and choose the inside lane, which Kenseth declined.

"He ain't going to help you, you gotta do what you gotta do," Busch's No. 18 spotter Tony Hirschman said on the team’s radio.
