The Bears are now on their way to finding out what kind of team Pace, the general manager, and Fox, the two-time Super Bowl head coach, can build without building it around Cutler. Assuming this is the end of Cutler's time in Chicago, they'll be the first duo to try it since 2008, a lifetime ago in the NFL.
