INDIANAPOLIS – Thursday's Big Ten tournament quarterfinal game between No. 20 Iowa and Illinois lasted 40 minutes. Iowa posed a threat for four of them, but it wasn't enough.
The Hawkeyes rallied from an 11-point deficit late in the second half, but Malcolm Hill hit the deciding jumper with 1:15 to go, giving Illinois a 68-66 win and its second win in two days of the tournament.
