Former Baylor president Kenneth Starr is really good at digging — maybe not for the truth, but he's really good at digging a hole in which to bury his head and claim innocence.
Starr has claimed in a multitude of interviews after the fallout from the Pepper Hamilton investigation into sexual assaults involving football players on Baylor's campus that, as an administrator, he was never made aware of reports of rape on campus.

Starr also claims he resigned from his post as chancellor — a position he held in conjunction with his presidency — so he could "talk openly" about the situation.
